Dowsing For Cures by Wilma Davidson
It is always a pleasure to read Wilma's work. Admittedly, I normally share review books with other like minded souls and give them away but Wilma's treasures always sit proud on my book shelves, in the section reserved for favourites.
The key to successful dowsing is in the phrasing of the question. Wilma explains how to master this technique in her most recent book, Dowsing For Cures. Filled with information about a huge range of illnesses and their possible cures, it's fascinating.
The style of writing is straightforward and almost comely. Having reviewed her previous book, Dowsing For Answers, I don't mind repeating,
'Davidson writes like a story teller of old, like a grandmother whom you have no wish to rebel against. Some authors write to hear their own voice, Davidson writes to share her knowledge'.
Thank goodness I'd zero knowledge, when raising my boys, that using disposable nappies could endanger their future fertility. Imagine shouldering that worry as well, I'd have had even more sleepless nights! We had no such knowledge 20 years ago, thankyou Wilma for raising awareness about such things. Following on, the pages containing information about the chemicals that we are exposed to daily and how they may affect the potency of male sperm is crucial knowledge for couples trying to conceive.
Dowsing is a process of elimination. For instance, iodine deficiency often manifests as a goiter. Wilma explains that painting a pea sized amount of iodine on the inside of the wrists each night is a way to check if the body is deficient. If the stain remains on the skin after 12 hours, the body is not deficient. If the stain is absorbed within this time, your body is telling you that it has insufficient levels.
Dowsing For Cures teaches how to learn your body's unique language. Both your body and this book are graceful friends if one listens.
